For caramel:
sugar ⅓ cup
water 2tbsp
1 tbsp hot water to melt the caramel at the end
Note: do not stir the sugar with a spatula otherwise the sugar will crystalize, just swirl the pan
for custard:
whole milk 2 cups
sugar ½ cup
vanilla extract 1 tsp
5 whole eggs
2 egg yolks
note: do not pour boiling hot milk in the egg.
pan size: 25cm x 10cm
10 inch x 4 inch
cover the pan and bake with a hot water bath for 60 minutes at150°c in a preheated oven

I tried it twice it’s so good , I had to double the caramel amount cause my family likes extra caramel and my pan wise wider
